Thank you for choosing Receipt SN. Receipt SN is operated by Studio Nestir Limited ("Studio Nestir", "we", "us", or "our"). Where applicable data protection law uses the concept of a data controller, Studio Nestir is the controller for personal data processed under this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the app, why it is processed, and the choices available to you.
Receipt SN is designed as a personal receipt organization tool. We aim to keep your receipt records under your control, use service providers only where needed to deliver requested features, and describe our practices in a clear and practical way.
Depending on how you use Receipt SN, the following categories of information may be processed. By default, receipt records are stored on your device and are not synced to iCloud unless you enable iCloud Sync. We do not use our servers as a permanent receipt storage service, and we do not sell your receipt data or use it for advertising, data brokerage, or advertising profiles.
We use information only for reasonable product, support, security, and legal purposes, including to:
Receipt SN uses automated recognition to help convert receipt images into editable records. AI and OCR results may be incomplete, duplicated, misread, or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing and correcting records before relying on them for tax, accounting, reimbursement, legal, or financial purposes.
When you choose or use a feature that requires cloud-based recognition, the receipt image and related text may be processed by our backend and/or selected AI service providers. We do not store users' raw data. We design this processing solely to provide the requested feature, not to create public datasets or train generalized models from your receipt content.
We may use trusted service providers to operate Receipt SN. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us or to you.
We do not authorize service providers to sell your receipt data. Some providers may process data in countries different from where you live, subject to their security and data processing commitments.
Receipt SN stores receipt records primarily on your device. If you delete individual records, they are removed from the app's local database subject to normal device and backup behavior.
iCloud synchronization: iCloud Sync is optional. If you enable it, receipt records may sync through Apple's iCloud infrastructure between devices signed in to your Apple Account. We do not host your private iCloud database and do not have direct access to records stored only in your private iCloud account.
Retention: Local records remain until you delete them, reset the app, or remove the app from your device. Cloud processing requests are intended to be transient unless temporary retention is needed for security, debugging, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or service operation. Support emails and related correspondence may be retained as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request and maintain business records. Backend account, promo, and referral records may be retained as needed to preserve entitlement state, investigate abuse, support customer cases, and meet legal obligations.

Receipt SN may be used in different countries, and our service providers may process information in jurisdictions with privacy laws that differ from your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, contractual commitments, platform controls, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encrypted network transmission where data is sent to cloud services and security controls provided by Apple and our infrastructure providers. No app, device, or network can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You can review, edit, export, and delete receipt records in the app. You can disable optional features such as cloud recognition or iCloud sync where the app provides those controls. You can also uninstall the app to remove local app data from your device, subject to any iCloud, device backup, or exported copies you maintain.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. California residents may also request information about personal information practices and deletion rights under applicable California privacy laws. We do not sell personal information. If you want us to review or delete backend support, promo, or referral records that relate to you, contact us and include your Support ID where possible.
Receipt SN is not directed to children. The app may be rated for general audiences by the App Store, but receipt management, subscription, and cloud recognition features are intended to be used by adults or under appropriate parental or guardian supervision. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information for behavioral advertising or sale.
We may preserve or disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Studio Nestir, our users, or others.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to make the updated policy available in the app or through our support pages. Continued use of Receipt SN after an update means you accept the updated policy to the extent permitted by law.
