1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Receipt SN, a receipt organization app operated by Studio Nestir Limited ("Studio Nestir", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using Receipt SN, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

These terms apply together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable App Store terms. If you use Receipt SN through Apple platforms, your purchase, subscription, and app license may also be subject to Apple's terms and policies.

2. What Receipt SN Provides

Receipt SN helps you scan, organize, search, categorize, and export receipt records. Depending on your device, settings, subscription, and region, features may include:

• receipt image capture and local storage;
• OCR and AI-assisted extraction of merchant, amount, date, category, tax, and line item details;
• manual editing, categorization, notes, spaces, reports, and exports;
• optional iCloud synchronization through Apple's infrastructure;
• subscription features and usage limits managed through the App Store.

3. AI, OCR, and Output Accuracy

Receipt recognition is automated and may rely on on-device models, cloud AI services, OCR, routing systems, or a combination of these technologies. While we process your data securely and do not store your raw receipt images, the extraction results may be inaccurate, incomplete, duplicated, delayed, unavailable, or unsuitable for your intended use.

You are responsible for the receipt images and other content you provide, and for reviewing, correcting, validating, and deciding whether to use any extracted result. We do not guarantee that AI or OCR output will be unique, correct, complete, accepted by any authority, or appropriate for tax, accounting, reimbursement, or compliance purposes.

4. Your Data and Responsibilities

You retain ownership of the receipt images, records, notes, and other content you create or import into Receipt SN. You grant us and our service providers a limited permission to process that content only as needed to provide, operate, secure, and support the app features you use, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining your own records, checking the accuracy of extracted data, exporting or backing up important records, and complying with laws or workplace policies that apply to your use of receipt data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Receipt SN only for lawful personal or business receipt management. You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:

• upload unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, misleading, infringing, or unauthorized content;
• use Receipt SN to create, support, or conceal false accounting, tax, reimbursement, or compliance records;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to extract source code, API keys, internal algorithms, models, or non-public service details, except where the law expressly permits it;
• bypass subscriptions, usage limits, rate limits, security controls, entitlement checks, or access restrictions;
• use bots, scripts, automated tools, scraping, proxy rotation, or bulk submission methods that overload or abuse the app or backend services;
• use Receipt SN outputs, APIs, prompts, service responses, or extracted data to build, train, benchmark, or improve a competing receipt extraction, OCR, bookkeeping automation, or AI data extraction service;
• interfere with the app, other users, Apple platform services, cloud providers, or our service providers.

6. Subscriptions, Trials, and Usage Limits

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are managed by Apple through the App Store. Subscription fees, renewals, cancellations, refunds, taxes, family sharing, and payment issues are handled according to Apple's terms and App Store settings.

• Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple Account settings before the renewal date.
• Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Free, trial, or promotional plans may include scan limits, feature limits, fair use limits, or other restrictions.
• We may adjust packages, features, limits, or prices for future billing periods as permitted by Apple and applicable law.

Receipt SN may also issue or accept promo codes, referral codes, support IDs, and backend account-linked offer states for campaign access, customer support, or entitlement administration. These are optional service features, not stored-value instruments, bank accounts, or cash equivalents.

• You must not sell, brute force, guess, farm, transfer in bulk, or abuse promo codes, referral codes, Support IDs, or backend account credentials.
• Promo, referral, and campaign benefits may be limited by eligibility rules, usage caps, geography, App Store rules, campaign dates, or anti-abuse checks.
• We may revoke, reject, reverse, suspend, or correct promo or referral benefits if we reasonably believe there is fraud, misuse, technical error, duplicate redemption, policy conflict, or unauthorized distribution.

7. Availability and Changes

We aim to provide a reliable app, but Receipt SN may depend on device resources, iOS versions, Apple services, internet availability, cloud providers, AI providers, and other third-party systems outside our full control. Features may be unavailable, delayed, changed, suspended, or discontinued for maintenance, security, legal, technical, commercial, or platform reasons.

8. Storage, Sync, and Backups

Receipt SN stores records primarily on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, syncing is handled through Apple's iCloud infrastructure. We do not operate Apple's iCloud systems and do not control all device, Apple Account, network, storage, backup, or sync conditions.

You should regularly export or back up important records. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device loss, app deletion, user error, failed sync, unavailable backups, third-party service issues, operating system behavior, or events outside our reasonable control, except where applicable law says otherwise.

9. Intellectual Property

Receipt SN, including its name, logo, interface, design, software, workflows, prompts, categories, documentation, and related technology, is owned by Studio Nestir Limited or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app according to these terms and applicable App Store rules. We do not transfer ownership of the app or its underlying technology to you.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access to Receipt SN features if we reasonably believe there is abuse, fraud, security risk, unlawful activity, excessive automated usage, unpaid entitlement issues, violation of these terms, or conduct that may harm Studio Nestir, users, service providers, or the app ecosystem. This may include disabling promo or referral benefits, rotating backend account credentials, or invalidating compromised account-linked offer states. Where practical and appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Receipt SN is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, always available, or that AI/OCR results, exports, categories, reports, or sync behavior will meet your specific requirements.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Studio Nestir Limited and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business, goodwill, data, records, tax benefits, reimbursement claims, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of Receipt SN.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for claims relating to Receipt SN will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Receipt SN in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or HKD 100. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow such limitation.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR, except where mandatory local consumer laws give you additional rights. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve concerns informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled by the courts or dispute resolution process permitted by applicable law.

14. Relationship to Apple Terms

These terms are intended to supplement, not replace or conflict with, Apple's applicable App Store terms, Apple Media Services Terms, and any Apple standard end user license agreement that applies to your download or use of the app. If Apple requires a different handling of purchases, refunds, subscriptions, licensing, or platform rules, Apple's applicable terms and processes will control that issue.

15. Updates to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to make the updated terms available in the app or through our support pages. Continued use of Receipt SN after an update means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.
